Subscription and Payment Terms
These Terms require clear pricing, prohibit a hidden Free-to-Paid conversion, and govern renewal, cancellation, and price changes.
1. Offering types
1-LVL may offer Free, Trial, one-time licenses, monthly or annual subscriptions, and other clearly described plans. The pre-purchase offer controls the functions and availability of each plan.
2. Information before payment
- the product and included functions;
- the plan, full price, and currency;
- the billing period and next charge date;
- whether and how the plan auto-renews;
- Trial duration and what happens at its end;
- cancellation method, applicable refunds, and mandatory consumer rights.
3. Express payment consent
Payment and recurring billing begin only after express user consent. Pre-checked boxes, silence, inactivity, or discontinuation of a free plan do not authorize a charge.
Free or Trial access does not convert to Paid automatically unless the user first confirms the price, plan, period, payment method, and auto-renewal.
4. Renewal and cancellation
An auto-renewing plan renews only on disclosed terms. The user must have a simple and accessible way to stop future charges. Cancellation stops future renewals and normally leaves access until the paid period ends unless law requires or the offer provides a more favorable term.
5. Price changes
A price change applies only to future periods. A completed paid period is not repriced retroactively. The Licensor will generally give at least 30 calendar days’ notice of a material increase and allow cancellation of a future renewal.
6. Regional rights
Russian Federation
Mandatory consumer rights and disclosure requirements for the seller, price, and service remain intact.
European Union and EEA
Mandatory consumer rights, including an applicable withdrawal right, remain intact. For immediate digital content, loss of a withdrawal right requires prior express consent and acknowledgment of the consequence where the law provides.
United States
Recurring payments require clear disclosure of material terms, express informed consent before charging, and a simple way to stop future charges.
7. Payment system status
Publishing these Terms does not mean paid functions or recurring billing are live. A specific payment flow requires separate technical and legal acceptance before the first charge.
