Methodology
For a bent equal-flange channel, an idealized area is used S = t × (h + 2b − 2t). Weight is calculated based on the density of the steel 7 850 kg/m³; Bending radii and tolerances are not taken into account.
Limitations
The cost is indicative and is indicated with the date of observation. Items without a price do not receive a cost estimate. The calculator does not select a section and check the load-bearing capacity.
