Dimensions are converted to metres, volume V is obtained in m³, and steel density ρ taken equal to 7850 kg/m³.

Width is entered in mm, length — in m, thickness — in mm, quantity — in pieces. Fractional values can be entered separated by a period or comma.
Accuracy and Limitations
The calculation concerns a flat sheet. It does not include chequered patterns, profiled-sheet corrugation, coatings, corrosion, tolerances and packaging mass. For ordering and documentation, compare the result with the actual product range and material certificate.
